OUR NEW SEASON HAS JUST STARTED, SO WHY NOT JOIN THE FUN. 

 

THURSDAY 28th May

Only 23  members present on Thursday night, but excellent prize money at £1220

It proved to be carnage up to the break at all three tables, as can be seen from the number of buy ins up to the break. But matters settled down after the break and we were able to see a bit of proper poker.

Steady stuff up to the final table with nothing spectacular to report. And the final table proved no better with a few members taking great pains to avoid each other. So when they got down to six and not a lot happening they agreed a chop of £200 each. Tony Foley, John Muir, Stevie Dunn, Dennis and Michael McGill and Mark Wilson all were recipients.

So Tony Foley has extended his lead at the top of the table with Mark Wilson his nearest pursuer. But a 5th final table sees the ominous presence of Stevie Dunn moving up into 5th place. And you would be foolish to disregard  ex champ John Muir who is now 11th.
